The Lodestar X2 is here! The World's favourite autoguider is now even better! With its new Sony ICX829 Exview2 CCD, it offers twice the sensitivity of the original Lodestar, making guide stars even easier to find. In addition, the autoguider output socket is now a standard RJ12 connector and so overcomes any objections to the strength of the original Lodestar cable. bobzeq25 Nebulosity is Mac friendly and inexpensive. It has camera control and integrates fully with PHD. After all, Dr. Craig Starke is the writer of both these programs. You can achieve much with just this rather simple set-up. It will do everything that you need to get started; Camera control, dithering and guiding, file import, stacking, and even some rudimentary processing. Another program such as StarTools or Pixinsight would be preferable for processing stacked images. - (1.12.4) Added ability to save star images as FITS files (hold down shift while pulling down Enable Star Image Logging) Posted 01 August 2017 - 12:13 PM Good to hear! Ekos's feature set is certainly compelling. I tried it on a linux box a while back and had issues with my Nikon SLRs, but it seems to work significantly better with the ZWO cameras. Will post a review when I've had a chance to test it out.

Huge fan of INDI and I hope to see more people making the move in the future. If you're running an Orion autoguider and you've not upgraded their drivers for some time and things don't work - upgrade their drivers from their site.
